Stop The Towers met this week with representatives of Onkar Sahota, GLA member for Ealing and Hillingdon. He fully supports the STT campaign and is seeking to meet with the GLA planning committee to raise his concerns.
Casting Shadows
Whilst we wait for the planning applications to appear on the portals, Stop The Towers have created some images to show the shadow both skyscrapers will cast over our neighbourhood. Those living in the Draytons will lose morning sunlight; the shops and cafes on the Avenue are in shadow over lunchtime; and the Five Roads will lose much of their afternoon and evening sun.
